How Jacqueline uses Shootstack to deliver her photos

Team Shootstack・Mar 11, 2024

Jacqueline is a passionate photographer and mother of two boys, who are also the instigators of her hobby gone wild. After completing an online basic course, she caught the photography bug. She decided to create an Instagram account to share her work.

This quickly led to her first assignments, and she began to slowly develop her style. What started as a hobby alongside her job as a hairdresser has grown into a thriving full-time photography career.

Capturing Connection

With a focus on capturing families, pregnant women, newborns, and portraits, Jacqueline knows how to capture the connection between family members and loved ones like no other. Children are the common thread in her offering. "Children create a relaxed atmosphere, and that's exactly what I want to convey with my photography." When photographing portraits, she knows exactly how to capture the gaze she has in mind.

Her unique style and attention to detail make each portrait a true work of art. She says, "With the editing, I let loose and turn each portrait into a little painting."

In addition to her work as a photographer, Jacqueline shares her expertise and passion with other photographers by giving inspiring editing workshops.

The Importance of Shootstack in the Delivery Process

Because Jacqueline puts so much work and love into her photos, it is especially important for her to deliver them in a professional manner to her clients. "By showing my photos with Shootstack after a photoshoot, I provide an extra layer of experience. It's a piece of professionalism for my client," she explains.

Previously, Jacqueline used Pixieset and WeTransfer for her delivery process, but since discovering Shootstack, her workflow has been transformed. She can now do her entire workflow through one program. She appreciates that clients can download the photos directly in high resolution, without being limited by time. A WeTransfer link expires after 7 days, but with Shootstack, she can keep her galleries online for as long as she wants.

After trying Shootstack for the first time, Jacqueline was immediately excited. "The software is very easy to use. I didn't even need the tutorial video." And as far as she's concerned, it's a real plus that it's Dutch software. "What a nice intuitive program for me as a photographer, but also for my clients," she says enthusiastically.

Jacqueline and Shootstack: The Workflow

For each photoshoot, Jacqueline has a specific workflow with Shootstack. After the shoot, she creates a selection gallery for her clients. In Lightroom, she gives these photos a basic edit and then uploads a low-resolution version with a watermark to Shootstack. This prevents these photos from being used prematurely.

The client then chooses the photos they want to receive via Shootstack. Jacqueline then copies the file names from her favorites list with one click and pastes them into Lightroom. "This way, I have exactly the right photos." Finally, she edits these photos one by one and uploads the selected images in high resolution to Shootstack so that the client can download them.
