Why are images missing in the downloaded file for my client?

Learn what you can do when your client is missing photos while downloading from the gallery.

If you notice missing images in your client's downloaded file, there could be a few reasons. Here's what you can do!

  1. Preview photoset in the gallery

A possible reason for missing images is if you've enabled a preview photoset. Images in a preview photoset cannot be downloaded by your client.

Re-upload the photos in a regular photoset and enable it in the gallery settings. You can then disable the preview photoset. For more information on photosets, click here.

  1. Make sure that all folders on the download page are downloaded

In the case of large galleries, downloads may be divided into multiple folders to speed up the download process for your clients. This may lead to your client thinking that images are missing when they are in the next folder(s).
