Branding

How can I add my business information to the gallery?

This is how you add your branding and company information to your gallery.

To make your Shootstack galleries an extension of your brand as a photographer, you can add your own branding and business information. Ga to the tab Branding to add or change all your information.

Your business name

To change your business name click on the first tab on the left: Business name. Here you can change your name. Your company name is displayed in the gallery and in emails for your client.

Change your URL

You can also personalize your own Shootstack URL with your company name such as: acmestudio.shootstack.gallery/…
Note: Be aware that hanging your URL will invalidate all your existing links.

Add your logo

To add your own logo, go to the branding tab and click on Logos. Here, you can upload your logo. Your logo will be displayed on the cover of your gallery and at the bottom of the gallery page.

You can upload a logo to be placed on a gallery cover with a white background by uploading a dark PNG logo. Additionally, you can upload a light logo to be placed on a dark gallery cover.

You can also upload a favicon, which is the icon that customers see at the top of their browser. This way, the gallery truly becomes an extension of your brand. If you don't set a favicon, a generic logo will be displayed.

Add your watermark

To add your own watermark, navigate to the Watermark tab. Click on "Add" and upload your logo. You can adjust the size of the logo for both landscape and portrait views. Additionally, you can modify the opacity as needed.

Your watermark is used as an overlay on the photo and serves as protection. This is not the same as a logo displayed on the gallery. A watermark is only applied over a photo when working with a watermark photo set. When creating a watermark photo set, you can choose which watermark you want to use. Once you upload photos, the watermark will automatically appear on your photos.

This is very useful if you want to allow clients to select photos without the risk of misuse. Click here for a favorite proofing tutorial.

Add color palettes.

Go to Colors and click on Add. Name your color palette and click on the colors to adjust them. The accent color is for accents on the page such as buttons. The cover color is for the gallery cover. The background color is for the grid of the gallery.

Once you've added your color palettes, you can find them under the design tab. You can set a color palette for each gallery.

Contact info & social media

You can also fill in your contact information and social media links. These details will be displayed in the footer of your clients' gallery. Only fill in the information you want to show.

💡 Tip: When customers share their gallery with family and friends, this is also an easy way for them to contact you from the gallery.

Terms

If you want to refer customers to your terms and conditions and privacy policy at the bottom of your gallery, you can easily fill in the link to your terms via the terms tab.
