Last updated on January 17, 2024
In Shootstack, you work with collections (main folder), photo sets, and galleries. After creating a collection, you can start uploading photos into one or more photo sets. Photo sets can be thought of as subfolders within the collection.
Uploading photos into a photo set
When you create a new collection, a photo set with the name 'all photos' is automatically created. In this photo set, you can directly upload new photos. You can rename the photo set by clicking on the three dots. Additionally, you can add a description. The name and description will be visible to you clients in their gallery.

How to create multiple photo sets
Click on add photo set to create a new photo sets. This is useful, for example, when you have photographed a wedding and want to divide the gallery by moments of the day. Or if you have done a photoshoot in different locations, you can create a photo set for each location. You can be very creative with these photo sets.

💡Tip: If you have photographed in different locations during a photoshoot, you can create a separate photoset for each location. Another idea is to make photo sets for every outfit that was worn during the shoot. This way, your client will get a beautiful, organized gallery.

You can also create a separate gallery. For example, for the vendor. Here, you can add the photo sets that are suitable for the vendor. You can also create a separate photo set for the vendor and upload some photos. You can then add this photo set in the vendor's gallery and disable it in the client gallery.
