Only people with the correct URL can view the gallery, but to provide extra protection for your galleries, you can set up a few security measures. This is particularly important for galleries containing sensitive content such as boudoir shoots, birth photography, or images of well-known individuals.

You can protect your gallery by setting up an access password, set a pin code for photo downloads, and automatically expiring a gallery after a specific date.

For each gallery you create, you can configure these settings individually. Navigate to the Galleries tab and select the right gallery.

Setting a gallery password

To set a password for your gallery, click on the Access tab and enable the password protection. A password will be generated, or you can input your own.

Note: When sending emails directly from Shootstack, the password will be automatically included.

Setting a pin code for downloads

Navigate to the Download tab for all download settings. Here, you can specify whether the gallery can be downloaded and in which format. To enhance download security, you can set a pin code.

Those with access to the gallery will need to input the pin before downloading the photos. Share this code only with your clients.

Note: When sending emails directly from Shootstack, the pin code will be automatically included.

Auto expire gallery

Under the Access tab, you'll find the option to automatically take your gallery offline. Toggle the switch to set an expiration date for the gallery. Once the expiration date has passed, your client won't be able to view their gallery.

The gallery will still exist in your collection, allowing you to extend or disable the expiration date at any time.
