Why can't my client download the photos?

If your client is experiencing difficulties downloading, there could be several reasons behind it. Here's what you can do!

If your client is unable to download the photos, there could be several reasons:

1. Your client opens the gallery from a different app such as Facebook Messenger or Instagram Messages. The gallery is then opened in a different app, causing the downloads to not work optimally.

  • Solution: Advise your client to copy and paste the gallery link into an empty browser.

2. Download limit has been reached. When setting up downloads, you can also set a download limit. When your client reaches this limit, it's no longer possible to start a download.

  • Solution: Increase the download limit in your downloads settings. Read more about download settings.

3. You have sent two (or more) galleries to the same client. A client cannot be logged into multiple galleries at the same time.

  • Solution: It's important for your client to 'log out' of one gallery so they can download the photos from the other gallery. Instruct your client to click on the logout icon at the top right of the gallery they are logged into. Then have them refresh the page with cmd/Ctrl + shift + r.
