Collections

In Shootstack you always start by creating a collection. You can see this as the workspace of a single photoshoot or event. This is where you upload your photos and create your client galleries.

To create a new collection you go to Collections and click on Add. Here you fill in the name of your collection, the date of your shoot and you can add tags.

You can easily find a collection by filtering with tags, select a time or search directly on the collection name.

Edit or delete collection

Select the collection you want to edit or delete, then click on the three dots in the top left corner. By selecting Edit, you can change the name, shoot date, and tags of the collection. If you click on Delete, the collection will be permanently removed. Note: this action cannot be undone.

After you created your collection, you can upload your photos into a photo set. Click on here to learn more about Photo Sets.

Upload a collection photo

Click on Choose Photo in the top left corner to upload an image from this collection. This photo will be displayed on the collection overview page and will automatically be set as the gallery cover. You can always update the cover later in the design tab of the gallery settings.
